About Amine Drizi:
I am an enthusiast and self-taught Algerian photographer who embarked on his journey in 2015. Since then, I have been exploring various genres and techniques in photography, striving to carve out my own path in this art form.
My fascination with photography began during my teenage years through cinema, motion pictures, and digital visuals. Even in my early childhood, I enjoyed drawing cartoon characters, which initially sparked my interest in visual arts.

Visuals have profoundly shaped my perception of the world around us ever since. What attracts me most to photography is its aesthetic appeal, particularly in two aspects: the beauty of the subject itself and the interplay of light with that subject.
Throughout my photographic journey, I have captured a diverse range of subjects, starting from pets, flowers, landscapes, and seascapes, progressing to portrait photography.
I'm currently focused on mastering filmmaking and video production, learning everything from camera work to storytelling. My goal is to excel in visual storytelling through dedicated practice and learning.
Beyond the aesthetics, my motivation in photography lies in documenting fleeting moments and scenes, aiming to enhance visual experiences in an artistic manner, all achieved with modest equipment.
Looking ahead, I aspire to delve into cinematography, recognizing its profound impact on a photographer's career. This exploration will allow me to expand into new dimensions of artistic expression.
Recognized Achievement
I've been awarded a Certificate of Artistic Achievement by the Pinacothèque in December 2020, in recognition of my participation in the international selection for the Luxembourg Art Prize 2020. This certification represents my ongoing work and engagement in photography.
